Two horses die at Grand National5 April 2013AINTREE, England -- Two horses have died already at the Grand National ahead of tomorrow's main event, The Guardian reports. The first racehorse died during the Fox Hunters' Chase, while Little Josh had to be put down after a fall during the Topham Chase, the report said. Much work had gone into improving the course with horse safety in mind this year and these deaths will mean disappointment for many and pressure to improve matters further, The Guardian report said. |
