Two casino lounges exempt from smoking ban15 December 2010CLAYTON, Missouri -- Two lounges at Harrah's casino have, for now, managed to acquire an exemption from the new smoking ban, the St Louis Post-Dispatch reported. Currently the ban only allows bars licensed by the county to be exempt, the Missouri Gaming Commission is responsible for licensing alcohol in casinos, the report explained. The bill, introduced by Kathleen Kelly Burkett, adds Gaming Commission licensed bars to the list of those who qualify as exempt from the smoking ban, the St Louis Post-Dispatch said. A final vote on the bill is to come, the report added. |
