Trump Pays Four Creditors

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – As reported by Press of Atlantic City: "Four companies that threatened to complicate the bankruptcy reorganization plans of Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts Inc. have been paid every penny they were owed.

"A.C. Coin & Slot Service Co., South Jersey Gas Co., Strauss Glass and AmSan LLC filed a motion last week seeking court approval for an unsecured creditors' committee to protect their interests during the bankruptcy proceedings.

"But Trump Hotels responded by paying the four companies everything they were owed, effectively rendering their bankruptcy motion moot.

"U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Judith Wizmur dismissed the motion Tuesday, but left open the possibility that a committee might be formed later if Trump's other unsecured creditors made a request for one.

"…Under its bankruptcy reorganization plan, Trump Hotels has promised to pay all of the unsecured creditors every dollar they are owed…"
