Trump Partners with Pat Croce

30 November 2005

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Trump Entertainment Resorts, Inc. ("Trump") (NASDAQ NMS: TRMP) announced today that it has formed a new partnership with a team of local investors led by Pat Croce to pursue one of two Philadelphia Category 2 Gaming Licenses anticipated to be issued by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board by the end of 2006. Each license will initially allow the operation of up to 3,000 slot machines with the ability to apply for an additional 2,000 slot machines.

If successful in obtaining one of the two slot licenses, the Trump/Croce development would be planned for the former Budd Co. factory site located at the intersection of Interstate 76 and Pennsylvania Route 1 in the Nicetown section of the City. As previously announced, Trump has a five-year option to either lease or buy the site for the potential development of a gaming facility.

Croce commented today, "I have chosen to partner with Trump Entertainment Resorts to pursue a gaming license for the Budd site because I believe it represents a great opportunity to bring tremendous benefit to the surrounding community and overall region."

"I am completely dedicated to this project because of its vast potential to breathe new life into an entire community," Croce continued. "Together with the new Trump leadership team, our proposal is built upon our shared belief that a successful business comes from serving your customers, employees and community."

"Pat Croce's record of extraordinary community involvement and consistent business success clearly make him the perfect individual to lead a great team of local partners for this exciting new development," said James B. Perry, President and Chief Executive Officer of Trump. "Croce and his team of investors share our vision for developing a project with the financial strength to drive economic development in the area."
