Trump must disclose details of bankrupt casinos

23 October 2009

NEW YORK, New York -- A U.S. Bankruptcy judge has ordered Donald Trump to disclose information about the investment he and his partners still hold in the bankrupt Trump Entertainment Resorts, according to Bloomberg.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Judith Wizmur on Thursday gave Trump 10 days to file a motion asking her to reconsider her ruling, according to Bloomberg.

Trump is trying to regain control of his former company. He once owned 29 percent of Trump Entertainment, but he resigned earlier in the year before it filed for bankruptcy.

Trump's lawyer told Bloomberg that Trump intends to comply with the ruling.

"We have nothing to hide," David Friedman said. "This is not an issue for us."
