Trump French Lick Casino Goes Ahead

INDIANA – As reported by the Indianapolis WISH TV: "A new Trump casino is anticipated to open in French Lick in January of 2006, despite a bankruptcy filing.

"The casino empire owned by Donald Trump has requested protection from creditors, claiming $1.3 billion in debt. Trump will remain as chairman and CEO under a reorganization plan that will give bondholders a stake in the company.

"State regulators say the reorganization will give the company an infusion of cash and some of that money will be spent in Orange County…"
