Trump Beats Chicken

8 April 2004

PALM SPRINGS, California –- (Press Release) -- Add tic-tac-toe to the list of skills mastered by television's latest prime-time star.

On Tuesday, April 6, while visiting the Trump 29 Casino east of Palm Springs, Calif., real estate developer and business superstar Donald Trump beat one of the Apprentice Chickens who are trained to play tic-tac-toe as a promotional gimmick. Trump secured the victory in his first try.

The Apprentice Chickens win almost every game, and besting the improbable odds of beating the fowl competitor won Trump a prize of $250, which he donated to charity. Approximately 600 people each day take on the Apprentice Chickens at Trump 29 Casino. At most times, there is a line of challengers.
