SAN CARLOS, California--(Press Release)--Aug. 23, 2000-- Trancos, Inc. a rapidly growing online advertising and direct marketing company, today announced that its TroppoLotto.com multilingual online lottery sweepstakes was ranked No. 113 as the most frequently visited Web site, based on early August figures from leading Web site tracker PCData Online.

TroppoLotto.com also boasted an industry- high three-month average loyalty rating of No. 69, based on May - July PCData numbers, with a 54% user retention rate. Visits to TroppoLotto.com soared with nearly 7.7 million page views recorded per day. The Trancos.com entertainment Web site offerings include instant messaging, a wide variety of music Webcasts, daily horoscopes, fortune telling, and other rewarding entertainment and lifestyle features. According to Trancos, more than 65% of TroppoLotto players are female and nearly 75% of the total number of players are 35 years and older. More than 40% of TroppoLotto players have an annual household income ranging from $50,000.00 - $70,000.00.

These demographics position TroppoLotto extremely well to reach two of the fastest growing segments of the Internet population: females and older users- both groups that continue to enthusiastically embrace the Internet for communications, commerce and entertainment.

A recent report issued by Media Metrix, Inc. and Jupiter Communications revealed that, in the U.S., the number of women online surpassed that of men for the first time ever in Q1 2000. The report also concluded that the population of women online is growing more rapidly that the online population overall and the unique visitor count for women age 55 increased an overall 109.5% over the past 12 months.
