Tropicana Presents Ultimate Variety Show18 June 2003LAS VEGAS – As reported by the New Jersey Courier Post: “On July 3, the Tropicana will raise the curtain on V - The Ultimate Variety Show, which debuted last year at the Venetian in Las Vegas. “A sizable chunk of the casino entertainment scene missing for some time now is being returned this summer. “On July 3, the Tropicana will raise the curtain on V - The Ultimate Variety Show, which debuted last year at the Venetian in Las Vegas. It will be one of the few shows in recent memory to showcase the kind of specialty acts that performed regularly in Atlantic City when casinos regularly programmed production shows. “According to Trop show biz chieftain Bill Gaydos, V - The Ultimate Variety Show features the kind of performers that normally fill time between big musical numbers in revue-type shows. Its producers, he explains, thought it would make sense to build an entire show around these types of acts. “…V - The Ultimate Variety Show is scheduled to run through Aug. 28, with a possible extension if all parties involve decide to keep it going…” |
