Tropicana presents Thanksgiving dining specials

(PRESS RELEASE) -- This Thanksgiving, Tropicana Atlantic City Casino & Resort invites guests to skip the food shopping, cooking and cleaning. Several of Tropicana's most celebrated dining destinations will offer special Thanksgiving menus on Thursday, 24 November 2016, with everything from traditional dishes to new spins on old favorites. Whether in search of a romantic dinner for two or a festive celebration for the whole gang, guests are certain to find what they are looking for here.

The Palm
Dine and celebrate with family and friends over a three course Thanksgiving Day Special at The Palm. Start off your meal with some delicious Lobster Bisque, Roasted Butternut Squash Bisque, or a Baby Kale, Radicchio and Apple Salad. And for the main course: Turkey. Enjoy slow-roasted hand carved turkey with the side of home style stuffing, homemade cranberry sauce and giblet gravy. Last but most definitely not least, savor some New York Cheesecake or Pumpkin Pie for dessert. The Palm serves the Thanksgiving Day Menu Special from 2-9 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Carmine's
Celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends. At $249.95, Carmine's traditional Thanksgiving feast feeds a family of eight features an 18 pound roast turkey with sausage and sage stuffing. The trimmings include: homemade cranberry sauce; Brussels sprouts with caramelized onions and Applewood smoked bacon; sautéed string beans with julienned red peppers and toasted hazelnuts; baby carrots with fresh dill, sweet potatoes topped with marshmallows and maple syrup, mashed potatoes with giblet gravy and a holiday pumpkin, apple or pecan pie. Il Verdi
Guests will enjoy a scrumptious three-course meal for just $38.00 per person plus tax and gratuity at Il Verdi, gourmet Northern Italian cuisine. First course includes your choice of delicious salads and soups such as insalata cesare, insalata di parma, cubanelle pepperoni ripieni, roasted butternut squash soup. Second course includes a Nicholas Farms roasted turkey with herb gravy, oak grove cornbread and sweet fennel sausage stuffing, buttermilk mashed potatoes or sweet mashed potatoes, a fall vegetable medley and jersey cranberry sauce. For dessert, choose apple cranberry pie, pumpkin pie, pecan pie and limoncello marscapone cheesecake with limoncello curd and blueberry compote.

Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar
Feast on Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar's Chef's Tasting Menu, the 15 Tastes of Cuba, this Thanksgiving. James Beard Award-winning Chef-Partner Guillermo Pernot's menu features an incredible selection of fifteen different items ranging from pressed Cuban bread with mango butter to authentic tapas and ceviche, skirt steak, mahi-mahi and Lechón Asado, rice and beans, fried plantains, and of course two traditional desserts: Cuban Flan and Tres Leches.

Pair the 15 Tastes of Cuba menu with the rum bar's signature mojito, a pitcher of sangria for the table, or a tropical cocktail from the extensive beverage menu. Casa Taco & Tequila Bar
Celebrate turkey day at Caso Taco & Tequila Bar for $28 person plus tax and gratuity. Guests can enjoy butternut squash soup, roasted turkey breast, string beans almandine, mashed potatoes or baked sweet potato, walnut-apple stuffing, home-made cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Children 12 and under can enjoy this meal for a half price of $14.

Fiesta Buffer
For a casual celebration, The Buffet prepares a bountiful all-you-can-eat feast where Thanksgiving purists and gourmands will find what they're craving. Dinner guests will enjoy Fiesta's regular surf and turf offerings along with a traditional roast turkey and all the trimmings, hand-carved ham, rack pork and slow roasted top round of beef. Enjoy all you can eat seafood such as snow crab legs, u-peel shrimp, crab cakes, stuffed flounder, salmon and steamed clams along with a multitude of other selections that include mashed sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese, fresh baked biscuits and corn bread. Celebrate the season with a delicious TDC, a turkey, dressing and cranberry sandwich for only $7.00 available daily.

Head on down to Marketplace Express and enjoy a delicious pumpkin pie after your Thanksgiving feast.

Tropicana's traditional 35-foot holiday tree is back to celebrate the holiday season featuring a free Holiday Musical Light Show in The Quarter. Families will love the stunning holiday décor and music, with the marvelous 35-foot tree in the center of it all. Adding to the festive décor is Tropicana's famed 25-foot Poinsettia Tree located in Palm Walk.

This not-to-be-missed experience combines interactive lights with an inspiring array of beloved holiday musical selections. Daily shows from Monday, 21 November, 2016 through January 3, 2017 will be presented every hour on the hour, from noon until 10 p.m.

Plus, we're bringing the wonder of the holiday season to Tropicana's Multimedia Light and Sound Show on the boardwalk with our free holiday-themed light and sound show playing daily.

Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
On Monday, 21 November at 1 p.m., Tropicana Atlantic City will celebrate the start of the holiday season with Tropicana's Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony. Guest speakers include Mayor Don Guardian, Tropicana General Manager Steve Callender and the big man himself, Santa Claus.

Tropicana's Holiday Jubilee will continue the tradition of celebrating the season with a spectacular holiday revue show designed to captivate audiences of all ages. Starring nine dancers and two vocalists, Holiday Jubilee takes a fresh approach to presenting the most beloved holiday music, characters and stories of the season.
