Tropicana Atlantic City to celebrate 40 years

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Set to celebrate 40 iconic years on the world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk this fall, Tropicana Atlantic City has launched an exciting series of dining and entertainment options for guests to experience this summer. Whether it's hitting the dance floor at Boogie Nights, watching New Jersey’s premier fireworks on the Boardwalk, lounging by the beach, catching a headliner perform in the Tropicana Showroom, or having a delicious meal al fresco at one of seven of the City’s top casual and fine dining restaurants, guests can customize their itinerary to make it their ideal stay.

Boogie Nights – Reopening 15 July
Grab your "boogie shoes" and head over to Boogie Nights, which reopens on Thursday, 15 July. Located in the heart of the Tropicana, Boogie Nights is dedicated to bringing back the magic of the'70s and '80s. Guests can welcome back their favorite Boogie Nights characters like Mr. Boogie, Roller Girl, Hula Girl, celebrity impersonators, and all of their favorite '70s, '80s and '90s icons. It's time to Boogie the night away on their lighted dance floor and around the larger-than-life disco ball. Tropicana's Free Fireworks Series - Every Saturday through 4 September, 10 p.m.
Tropicana's Free Summer Fireworks Series lights up the Atlantic City's skies with a free spectacular fireworks display. The dazzling 10-minute show takes place every Saturday at 10 p.m. through September 4. The shows, designed by Fireworks by Grucci, are displayed from the beachfront and include intricately designed scenes and vivid effects, including Grucci high aerials and grand illuminations. Tropicana's Free Fireworks Series is sponsored by Tropicana Atlantic City, William Hill Sportsbook, A'Dam Good Sports Bar, Casa Taco & Tequila Bar, Chickie's & Pete's Crab House and Sports Bar, Firewaters Saloon, Hooters Atlantic City, Perry's Pizza and Tony Luke's.

Outdoor Dining
In the mood for al fresco dining? Choose from several outdoor dining eateries to soak up the sun, people-watch, or enjoy oceanfront views. Outdoor dining is available during the summer season at Chelsea Five Gastropub, Gilchrist Restaurant, Casa Taco & Tequila Bar, Chickie's & Pete's Crab House and Sports Bar, Hooters Atlantic City, Perry's Pizza, and Tony Luke's. A Star-Studded Entertainment Lineup
  • Legends in Concert – 21 July – 6 September: The longest-running entertainment attraction in Atlantic City history, Legends in Concert will showcase five sensational tribute artists paying homage to the legendary music catalogs of Whitney Houston, Lady Gaga, Michael Bublé, Michael Jackson, and the King of Rock n Roll, Elvis Presley.
  • Pink Talking Fish – 14 August: A Hybrid Tribute Fusion Act that takes the music from three of the world's most beloved bands: Pink Floyd, The Talking Heads, and Phish and creates a special treat for fans of the music.
  • Vanessa Williams – 21 August: Having sold millions of records worldwide, Vanessa has scored numerous #1 and Top 10 hits on various Billboard Album and Singles charts: Pop, Dance, R&B, Adult Contemporary, Holiday, Latin, Gospel and Jazz. She also achieved a career pinnacle with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007.
Kick Back & Relax
