Tropicana Atlantic City player wins $388,000 jackpot16 November 2015(PRESS RELEASE) -- There's more fun at Tropicana Atlantic City Casino & Resort, and what’s more fun than winning? For Matthew Marzani of Scranton, Pennsylvania, his golden ticket came in the form of a $388,000 progressive jackpot win on a WMS Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory slot machine. Marzani was trying his hand at slots for the very first time and playing a penny denomination Willy Wonka slot machine when the winning combination triggered the city-wide progressive at about 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015. "Congratulations to Mr. Marzani on this significant wide-area progressive jackpot," said Tropicana General Manager Steve Callender. "The Willy Wonka slots have quickly become a player favorite at Tropicana, and we are excited to share in this exciting moment." The Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory game offers unique bonus rounds drawn straight from the motion picture classic. Powered by the Sensory Immersion 2.0 motion chair, the Chocolate River Bonus allows players the chance to experience the iconic Wonkatania ride through exciting motion effects, and the Elevator Bonus flies the player up above the factory like Charlie himself, bringing Willy Wonka’s world of pure imagination to the casino floor. |
