Tropicana Atlantic City expands weekly summer fireworks schedule

24 May 2017

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Grucci family is proud to announce its commission for the third year in a row by Tropicana Atlantic City Casino & Resort to celebrate the summer season with Fireworks by Grucci. To start off summer with a bang, Tropicana will host the first of 17 firework shows on Memorial Day weekend. The series starts on Friday, 26 May and then every Saturday night until 9 September, plus Tuesday, 4 July. The Tropicana will first dazzle the sky with a vibrant firework performance and then perform their Multimedia Light & Sound Show. The combination of these two spectacular mediums will make for an incredible summer night in Atlantic City.

The firework shows will be designed and performed by Guinness World-record holding Fireworks by Grucci. The sixth-generation, family-owned and operated firework performance company has been partnering with Tropicana Atlantic City since 2015, when the first summer of fireworks began at the luxurious casino and resort. Each of the 17 performances will be displayed from the beachfront and will include intricately designed scenes and vivid effects, including Grucci high aerials and grand illuminations.

"It is an incredible honor to again collaborate with Tropicana Atlantic City for the third consecutive year," says Phil Grucci. "Our mission has always centered around creating lasting memories for friends and families and bringing smiles to peoples' faces. We love that we have the opportunity to do that every weekend of the summer, and now on Independence Day, thanks to the Tropicana, and we look forward to performing for their wonderful guests each week."

Can't make it to the boardwalk? Download the Fireworks by Grucci Performance App from the iPhone app store or Google Play and tune in at the beginning of the performance to hear the playlist in real time from any location.
