Tropicana Atlantic City adds to Spring Fever Festival22 March 2017(PRESS RELEASE) -- As the temperature rises, so does the fun at Tropicana Atlantic City Casino & Resort's Spring Fever Festival, now with even more events added to the excitement, adventure and fun. Now through Monday, 15 May, look for all of our Spring Fever Festival events including food and drink specials, seasonal fun photo ops featuring sand sculptures, a decorative Easter display and a Mariachi-shaped topiary located in Palm Walk, plus giveaways, themed nightlife events, a free concert and more. Saturday, 6 May – Big Horse Race & Kentucky Derby Hat Contest Tropicana Atlantic City is giving more reasons celebrate during the Big Horse Race, and we aren't horsin' around. Derby fans are invited to don their finest hats, watch the races and strut their stuff in 10 North Lounge during a hat contest Saturday, 6 May at 7:30 p.m. The grand prize is a $250 Tropicana gift card and refreshing mint juleps will be available for $10. A Trop Advantage card is required to participate in the Big Horse Race & Hat Contest. Plus, receive 20% off at Hat Emporium (located in The Quarter) with mention of the contest. Saturday, 6 May – Free concert featuring Mark Diomede's Alligator On Saturday, 6 May, Tropicana presents a free concert starring Mark Diomede – A Tribute to the Grateful Dead in the Grand Exhibition Center at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are not required. Concert attendees must be 21. Martini Week – 13-20 May Tropicana Atlantic City is giving you more reasons to raise your glass with Martini Week, 13-20 May 2017. Celebrate America's favorite cocktail with resort-wide martini specials and shopping discounts. Mother-Daughter Look-Alike Contest – Saturday, 13 May Join the fun as we kick off Martini Week on Saturday, 13 May with our mother-daughter look-alike contest hosted by 95.1 WAYV. Diane Mitchell of the Mike & Diane morning show serves as emcee of this fun-filled event which takes place from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in The Quarter.
