Tropicana AC hosting Ultimate Halloween5 October 2015(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Tropicana Atlantic City Casino & Resort is brewing up MORE fun this Halloween! Tropicana’s Ultimate Halloween Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, includes a Thriller dance on the Boardwalk, a Halloween-themed light and sound show, giveaways, costume contests and some mysterious surprises. The festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. on the Boardwalk and continue inside the resort from 9 p.m. long into the night. “With 18 places to party, Tropicana has earned a reputation as the ultimate Halloween experience in Atlantic City,” said Tropicana General Manager Steve Callender. “We have kicked things up a notch this year by adding the Boogie Nights Thriller dance on the Boardwalk.” Ultimate Halloween Part 1 – Thrills On the Boardwalk 7:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. As darkness falls across the land, the midnight hour is close at hand . . . Hosted by Cat Country’s Joe Kelly, this trick-or-treat extravaganza begins at 7:30 p.m. on the Boardwalk in front of Tropicana where a featured Halloween-themed light and sound show will set the mood. And though you fight to stay alive, your body starts to shiver. For no mere mortal can resist the evil of the thriller! At 8 p.m. brave souls are invited to join the Boogie Nights cast as they reenact the famous dance from Michael Jackson’s Thriller video. The first 100 dancers to register will receive a trick-or-treat bag. Whether there is a “trick” or a “treat” inside is left up to chance. Twenty-five “treats” are up for grabs, including a $250 Tropicana gift card, a complimentary overnight stay, dinner at FIN and a VIP booth at Boogie Nights! However, everyone is lucky enough to walk away with candy provided by Global Vending and some Tropicana logoed items. Must be 21. Trop Advantage membership required for prize redemption. The stakes are high at Tropicana’s Annual Halloween Costume Contest. The contest kicks off at 9 p.m. in The Quarter’s Fiesta Plaza. The Best Overall Costume wins a $500 Tropicana gift card. The Scariest Costume wins an overnight stay with gourmet dinner for two. The winners of the Best Group Costume category each get a $50 Tropicana gift card (up to five members). Cat Country on-air sensation Joe Kelly will judge the competition, so go spooky, go sexy, go all out or go home! Boogie Nights: The Ultimate '70s and '80s Dance Club - Join the Boooooogie Nights Halloween Bash and try your luck at their Halloween costume contest Saturday, Oct. 31 at midnight, where prizes will be awarded including a Carnival Cruise!
