Trey Kennedy to bring tour to Rivers Casino Philadelphia17 January 2024(PRESS RELEASE) -- Trey Kennedy has more than 12 million social media followers, but only a few will get to see his quick-witted live show in Philadelphia. Kennedy’s "Grow Up Comedy Tour" is coming to Rivers Casino Philadelphia on Saturday, 2 March, 8 p.m. and is expected to sell out quickly. Tickets for the highly anticipated performance start at $39 and go on sale Thursday, 18 January, at 10 a.m. From online to onstage, Kennedy has turned his viral videos into hilarious sketches and relatable content. His tour is highlighted with audience interaction and observational humor. "Trey Kennedy’s zingers are a perfect fit for Fishtown and Philly," said Eric Althaus, general manager of Rivers Casino Philadelphia. "We’re a city where we call it like we see it, and Trey’s blunt, authentic humor will have guests laughing and applauding throughout the night." Kennedy, born and raised in Oklahoma, never expected to enter the entertainment industry. While attending college at Oklahoma State University, he found fame on the mobile app Vine, amassing more than 2.5 million followers. Kennedy was a top creator on the app for more than three years and, through this experience, discovered a passion for entertainment. Even though he’s traded the camera for a microphone, Kennedy continues his social media success on Instagram and TikTok. He currently has a podcast titled "Correct Opinions" and just concluded a sold-out comedy tour selling out cities across the United States. Kennedy’s self-produced comedy special "Are You For Real?" is available on YouTube. |
