Toronto: 3 charged in gambling extortion case4 May 2011TORONTO, Canada -- Three men have been charged with extortion, according to the CBC. The men are alleged to have targeted Asian gamblers at local casinos, the report said. Using Chinese newspaper ads the men targeted gamblers with fast loans that were impossible to ever pay back because the interest was chronically over inflated, CBC said. |
