Thunderbird Casinos in Oklahoma will remain closed until May

The Absentee Shawnee Tribe announced today via Facebook that the Thunderbird Casino - Norman and Thunderbird Casino - Shawnee will remain closed until 1 May.

General Manager Sam Caruso said that the "health and safety of our patrons, teams members and community regarding COVID-19, remains our top priority . . . We will continue to pay our team members through the May 1 re-open date."

Any events and promotions planned will be rescheduled to a later date.
