Thunder Valley Casino Resort will celebrate one-year anniversary of The Venue7 November 2023(PRESS RELEASE) -- Thunder Valley Casino Resort will celebrate the one-year anniversary of The Venue with a performance by Red Hot Chili Peppers on Saturday, 17 February 2024. Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of the best-selling bands of all time and hold the record for the most number-one singles. Today RHCP are one of the biggest streaming rock bands in the world. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012, the award-winning Los Angeles quartet—Anthony Kiedis (vocals), Flea (bass), Chad Smith (drums), and John Frusciante (guitar)—have collected 6 GRAMMYAwards, sold 120 million albums, generated 5 billion YouTube views, and gathered 22 billion Spotify streams, averaging 21 million monthly listeners on the platform. The band released two albums in 2022 - their twelfth and thirteenth studio records - Unlimited Love in April and Return Of The Dream Canteen in October. “We are thrilled to celebrate the one-year anniversary of The Venue with a performance by the iconic band, Red Hot Chili Peppers,” said Dawn Clayton, General Manager of Thunder Valley. “Over the past year at The Venue, we have seen a multitude of unforgettable performances, providing our guests with an unparalleled entertainment experience. As we enter our second year, we look forward to hosting more big-name performers and expanding our entertainment footprint even further.” Beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, 8 November, Thunder Rewards Members will have the exclusive chance to purchase tickets on-site at Thunder Valley at the Rewards Center Box Office. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, 10 November at 10 a.m. and can be purchased online at www.thundervalleyresort.com/entertainment or at the Rewards Center Box Office. The Venue is a 150,000 square foot state-of-the-art entertainment venue with 4,500 seats offering year-round musical acts, comedic performances, and sporting events. There are several dining options at Thunder Valley Casino Resort for guests to enjoy before and after the show, including High Steaks Steakhouse, Red Lantern, Thunder Café, Dos Coyotes Border Café, Ben & Jerry’s and much more located in the expansive Food Court.
