Thunder Valley Casino announces three new shows for the fall

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Thunder Valley Casino Resort announces upcoming acts for its much-anticipated entertainment schedule at The Venue.

  • Saturday, 16 September: Jewel with Edwin McCain and Gina Miles
  • Friday, 22 September: Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening
  • Friday, 27 October: Janet Jackson – Together Again

Janet Jackson is an award-winning recording artist and actress who's the youngest child of the Jackson family of musicians. She is best known for hit singles like "Nasty," "Love Will Never Do (Without You)," "That's the Way Love Goes," "Together Again" and "All for You." Jackson is ranked as one of the best-selling artists in contemporary music, having released an array of multi-platinum albums like Control, Rhythm Nation 1814, and Janet, in collaboration with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. In 2015 she reunited with the two producers for Unbreakable, which became her seventh No. 1 album.

“We are very excited to welcome Janet Jackson to The Venue this October,” said Dawn Clayton, General Manager of Thunder Valley. “Our luxury venue with all of its world-class amenities makes it possible to host a multitude of notable performers like Janet Jackson and more.”

Gina Miles, a 19-year-old Sacramento local and the winner of the most recent season of NBC’s The Voice, will open for Jewel and Edwin McCain. Singer-songwriter, actress, and best-selling author Jewel’s hits include “Who Will Save Your Soul,” “Foolish Games,” “You Were Meant For Me,” and countless more. Edwin McCain will bring his amazing music to the stage with hits such as “I’ll Be” and “I Could Not Ask for More.”

Tickets for Janet Jackson – Together Again and Jewel with Edwin McCain and Gina Miles are on sale now and can be purchased online at www.thundervalleyresort.com/entertainment or at the Rewards Center Box Office.

Beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday, 15 June, Thunder Rewards Members will have the exclusive chance to purchase tickets for Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening on-site at Thunder Valley at the Rewards Center Box Office. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, 16 June and can be purchased online at www.thundervalleyresort.com/entertainment or at the Rewards Center Box Office.

These acts will perform in The Venue, the new 150,000 square foot state-of-the-art entertainment venue. The Venue has 4,500 seats and will offer year-round musical acts, comedic performances, and sporting events, and will provide large event space for conferences and banquets.

There are several dining options on property for guests to enjoy before and after each show, including High Steaks Steakhouse, Red Lantern, Thunder Café, Dos Coyotes Border Café, Ben & Jerry’s and much more located in the expansive Food Court.
