The Venetian Resort restaurants donate nearly 120,000 meals to Three Square Food Bank19 July 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- Restaurants at The Venetian Las Vegas and The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino donated a record 119,985 meals to Three Square Food Bank as part of the citywide Restaurant Week. The annual program is held for two weeks at the end of June, but for the second year in a row, The Venetian and The Palazzo added an additional “bonus week.” Participating restaurants offered prix fixe menus at a special price as a great way to try the resort’s award-winning restaurants with a portion of the proceeds going to Three Square Food Bank. In addition, The Venetian and The Palazzo added two cocktail hotspots, Rosina and The Dorsey, donating a portion of proceeds from a special cocktail menu. Participating restaurants at The Venetian and The Palazzo include Black Tap Craft Burger & Beer, Bouchon, Buddy V’s Ristorante, Delmonico Steakhouse, Chica, LAVO Italian Restaurant, Hong Kong Café, TAO Asian Bistro, Lagasse’s Stadium, Public House, Morels Steakhouse & Bistro, Mercato della Pescheria, Once, Rosina, SUGARCANE raw bar grill, The Dorsey, and Yardbird. Three Square currently distributes more than 40 million pounds of food and grocery product per year -- the equivalent of more than 33 million meals -- to more than 1,300 community partners, including nonprofit and faith-based organizations, schools and feeding sites throughout Southern Nevada. |
