The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino Honored

LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino has been awarded Meetings & Conventions magazine's highly coveted Gold Key 'Elite' Award and Gold Platter 'Elite' Award for 2005. This distinguished honor has been established to define the very "best of the best" meeting properties worldwide based on overall professionalism and quality.

Basing their selections on the overall quality, Meetings & Conventions readers selected The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino as a Gold Key 'Elite' and Gold Platter 'Elite' property and one of the finest they have experienced in 2005. This year more than 200 hotels and resorts were honored as Gold Key winners, with only five achieving the Gold Key 'Elite' level. The Venetian was also selected as a Gold Platter 'Elite' Award winner for excellence in food & beverage. Meetings & Conventions readers, the industry's toughest and most important critics, selected winning properties based on strict criteria which included: staff attitude; quality of meeting rooms; quality of guest services; quality of food and beverage service; proficiency of handling reservations; technical/support equipment; and a range of facilities.
