The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod to unveil elevated pool experience26 May 2023(PRESS RELEASE) -- The STRAT Hotel, Casino and SkyPod will reveal a picturesque new destination to sip, swim and socialize with Swim & Social, a resort-style pool and play experience spanning 68,000 square feet on the eighth story rooftop with stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip. The new, remodeled poolside destination opens just in time for Memorial Day weekend at 10 a.m. on Friday, 26 May. The centerpiece of Swim & Social is a large main pool framed by luxurious cabanas, daybeds and chaise lounges. Games like cornhole, giant Jenga and Connect Four welcome friendly competition and poolside socializing. A fun mix of music plus weekend DJs will provide the soundtrack for the sun-drenched escape. Swim & Social is located in the space formerly occupied by Elation Pool Café & Bar. Swim & Social Café, a full-service restaurant and bar, will offer a cool retreat for breakfast and lunch with small plates, salads, sandwiches and more, in addition to frozen and signature cocktails, wine, beer, seltzer and non-alcoholic drinks. A sampling of dishes includes ahi tuna tacos with guacamole and a spicy soy and chili mayo; tostadas topped with chorizo, black beans, charred salsa verde, Monterey jack and cheddar cheeses; kale and strawberry salad with goat cheese, walnuts, pomegranate, cucumber and white balsamic vinaigrette; Firecracker wrap filled with crispy chicken, cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, tabasco sauce, ranch dressing and pico de gallo; BBQ brisket melt topped with sharp cheddar cheese, chipotle BBQ sauce, pickles and onions; among others. Drink selections include the S&S favorite, made with Patrón Silver tequila, Grey Goose Essences Watermelon & Basil vodka, Aperol Aperitivo, lime, Squirt and Tajín; Peach Party, a combination of Ketel One Botanical Peach & Orange Blossom vodka, St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur, white peach, lemon and Ruffino prosecco; a frozen Miami Vice, made with Bacardi Superior rum, strawberry and piña colada mix; and more. Bottle service is also available. Admission is complimentary for hotel guests and available to non-hotel guests for $15. Minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. |
