The Reel Life's has rules for robbing a bank

20 January 2011

The Reel Life follows three basic rules: Don't rob a bank during a blizzard; don't use public transportation as a getaway; if you somehow break the first two rules, don't get dropped off at the bus stop across the street from your house.

According to the Litchfield County Times, 27-year-old Connecticut resident Preston Hanlon was arrested after he allegedly robbed a local bank of $2,200. Police say Hanlon brandished a silver gun when he robbed the bank at 8:30 a.m. and then hopped on a public bus.

Hanlon took the public bus all the way to his house in New Milford. Witnesses informed police that Hanlon had taken the bus home, and authorities were able to track him to his house.

After a five-hour standoff, Hanlon surrendered and was taken into custody. He is charged with first-degree robbery.

The Reel Life can respect a bank robbery if done correctly. And on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the bank robbery from the movie "Heat," this ranks as a 2.

Four to the floor

Red Flush Casino is set to start 2011 with a bang. As the home to over 450 casino games, it announced it has added four new games to its mammoth registry of games.

Hot Ink Video Slot is based on the theme of a tattoo shop. The game showcases some imaginative tattoo designs that are as colorful as they are rewarding. The game follows a new format that gives players 1,024 ways to win instead of a limited number of paylines.

Monkey King is a five-reel, 30-payline video slot based on the theme of 16th century Chinese morality folk-lore. The Monkey King is both immortal and the bearer of special powers that allow him to perform amazing deeds as he battles dragons and other mystical beasts. The game features wilds, scatters, a second screen bonus feature and free spins with multipliers galore.

Private Eye, an entertaining slot that harks back to the days of sleuths like Dick Tracy and Mickey Spillane, offers superb graphics that include femmes fatale, .38 specials, classic cars, covert cameras and tough-looking criminals. The game features a free spins bonus as well as a "Solve the Case" bonus round, which may lead to a "Mug Shot Bonus" if a fingerprint clue is found.

The final game to join Red Flush Casino this month is Diamond Glitz, the second in the Retro Reels series. This is an ultra-modern version of the slots of yesteryear that incorporates features that are timeless classics, such as free spins with doubled wins. The game also features the innovative new "Respin" facility, as well as a "Free Spin Bonus" and "Glittering Free Spins Bonus."
