According to the Litchfield County Times, 27-year-old Connecticut resident Preston Hanlon was arrested after he allegedly robbed a local bank of $2,200. Police say Hanlon brandished a silver gun when he robbed the bank at 8:30 a.m. and then hopped on a public bus. Hanlon took the public bus all the way to his house in New Milford. Witnesses informed police that Hanlon had taken the bus home, and authorities were able to track him to his house. After a five-hour standoff, Hanlon surrendered and was taken into custody.
