The Denver Zoo is not a petting zoo, so in order to pet the tiger, the man had to climb over a public barrier. Police caught him before he actually petted any tigers, so both the man and the tigers are unharmed. Zoo officials point out that the zoo is currently adorned with signs, barriers and other clear indications that it is not a petting zoo and that such behavior is not acceptable, but are reviewing their setup to determine if additional security is needed to prevent repeats of such behavior.
