According to the Daily Mail, a 24-year-old from Brooklyn bragged about his bank heists on his Facebook page, with status updates that included "I Gotta Get that $$$$$ Man!!!!" That particular status update was posted 45 minutes before he allegedly robbed a Chase branch in Brooklyn. Jesse Hippolite also wrote posts that said "crime pays my bills" and "I wanna promote a heist... who wid it?" Hippolite had changed his user name on Facebook to Willie Sutton Jr. Willie Sutton was a prolific American bank robber who Hippolite idolized. Hippolite posted photos of himself with wads of cash as well. He was finally busted after a bank employee noticed the license plate of the car Hippolite used. That license plate was traced to 19 banks that had also been robbed. Hippolite pleaded guilty this week to three robberies, and may face additional charges on another 16. If convicted of the rest, he faces up to 60 years in prison. Let this be a lesson to all you future young criminals out there. Don't count (post) your chickens (bank robberies) before they hatch.
