The Reel Life: Murder-for-hire edition6 March 2014Some folks simply aren't cut out for the murder-for-hire business. In Wisconsin, 33-year-old Jessica Strom allegedly offered a former male classmate $1,000 in cash and a grab bag of sexual favors in exchange for murdering Strom's husband. Though that offer must have been at least a little bit tempting, the man thankfully went to the police and told them of Strom's plot. Strom is now behind bars and facing charges on conspiracy to commit first degree murder, which carries a maximum 60-year prison term. According to police, Strom asked the man to think about the deal, but also warned him: "Don't tell anyone about this. I don't want to have to kill you too." The Reel Life is happy to say that no one was hurt in this debacle, except for the sensibilities of everyone reading this story. The more we think about it, the more Strom resembles an incompetent villain from a cheesy action movie. Or, she's just completely insane. Also, if you're going to hire someone to perform a murder, wouldn't you want to hire someone who has, you know, done that kind of thing before? (Note: The Reel Life does not advocate any form of murder, even if you do find a skilled hitman.) This has amateur hour written all over it. Get in the fast lane Grandma, this bingo game is ready to roll Prime Slots is once again pleased to announce the expansion of its online slot games catalog with the addition of two new Net Entertainment titles: Wonky Wabbits and Big Bang slots. First, hot off the gaming software presses is Wonky Wabbits – a cheerfully fun five-reel, 15-payline slot machine game, with adorable graphics and the chance at big wins. The concept is simple yet entertaining, as players are invited to join the wonky (as in somewhat insane) rabbit on a search for Wilds throughout the game’s virtual vegetable path. Once a Wild appears, excitement breaks loose in the form of what’s called Wild duplication, wherein the Wild symbol duplicates and repositions itself on the best place on the reels for the best possible win! In addition, players are sure to get a bang out of Prime Slots’ Big Bang game. A new video slot that brings players deep into space, this interplanetary game offers a joyous journey jam-packed with Wild symbols and progressive multipliers of up to 32X for out-of-this-world wins. Aviv Sher, VP Business Development at Prime Slots, said in respect to these recent releases: “While there’s a saying that there’s no such thing as reinventing the wheel, these two slot games are just another example of how NetEnt never ceases to reinvent the reel.”
