The Reel Life isn't blind

21 April 2011

The Reel Life sees no problem with a blind man receiving assistance from the government. Unless, of course, the blind man isn't blind.

According to ANSA, an Italian man who claimed thousands of euros in state handouts due to blindness was busted after he was spotted driving a car.

The 67-year-old had claimed €60,000 in disability payments due to his "disability." Police pulled him over in a random traffic stop in near Naples and initially fined him for not having his license.

"But after punching his name into their database, they found his details on a list of people suspected of disability fraud and realized he was merely pretending to be blind," according to ANSA.

He was arrested and charged on suspicion of cheating Italy's benefits system.

The Reel Life believes that this Italian man really should have seen this coming (get it?).

The ride of a lifetime

Everyone loves amusement parks. It doesn't matter if you're eight-years-old or 80-years-old. That's why Win A Day Casino's new "Fair Tycoon" online slot machine should appeal to everyone, unless of course you are too young to play the slots.

Fair Tycoon is an animated five-reel slot machine with 17-paylines and a Premium Game where players become a mighty tycoon. As players spin the reels, they collect Fair Credits to use later in the bonus game when building their very own fairground. If they’re lucky, they can also collect premium attractions for their fair, like a roller coaster or Ferris wheel.

In the Premium Game, the goal is to build a fairground that keeps visitors happy – and earn bonus money by doing so. Fair builders can use credits to purchase carnival attractions, like snack food vendors or a shooting gallery, to amuse their visitors and they get to choose where to place each attraction in their fairground.

As usual, Win A Day is giving players free bonus money to try the new game and they’ll award $3,000 in bonuses to the players who play it the most.
