The Reel Life: Hypnosis edition

5 July 2012

The Reel Life has always wondered what undergoing hypnosis would be like. But after reading a CBC account about a hypnosis gone wrong, the Reel Life will be taking a pass on it for a while.

According to the CBC, a private girls high school in Sherbooke, Quebec, brought in a hypnotist to put on the show.

The hypnotist put several students under hypnosis, but when the show was over, he couldn't snap the students out of it.

That's right, he couldn't snap them out of it.

According to the CBC report, one student was under for five hours.

The hypnotist eventually called his mentor, who was able to get the students out of their trance.

So if you're considering hypnosis, be careful. And make sure you get the mentor, and not the student.

Get in the fast lane, Grandma, this bingo game is ready to roll!

Sometimes, gamblers just get that lucky feeling. Such was the case with Gloria H., a 60-year-old woman who plays at Slotastic. Gloria had requested a withdrawal from Slotastic. But she canceled it, and went on a winning spree that netted her almost $100,000.

Gloria won most of her money playing Pay Dirt, Strike it Lucky and Gold Fever.
