The Reel Life: Hitchhiker extraordinaire edition

7 February 2013

Many people have an inherent distrust of hitchhikers. But a homeless hitchhiker named Kai turned out to save the day for people who were being attacked by his driver, thanks to the homeless man's hatchet.

Yes, you read that right. Kai was in the vehicle when the driver said he was actually Jesus Christ and then slammed his vehicle into another man, then got out and started to bear hug a woman. Kai took action, jumping out of the car and hitting the 300-pound man in the back of the head with his hatchet.

"A guy that big can snap a woman's neck like a pencil stick," Kai told KMPH Fox 26.

Lucky for her, Kai was there to save the day. The full news story is below, and you can also listen to the entire interview with Kai, though be warned, he uses some language that's not bleeped out and is not for virgin ears.
