The Reel Life: Beer fridge edition

12 February 2014

It must be nice to be Canadian, eh? At the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, the Canadians are living in style in the Olympic village. According to reports, Canadian beer company Molson has provided a special beer fridge that requires folks thirsty for a beverage to scan their passports to open. And, of course, the fridge only opens for Canadians. It's some pretty cool viral marketing, if the Reel Life says so ourselves. But let's face facts; Molson is not exactly the pinnacle of quality beer. It's a cheap brew that can be accessed pretty much anywhere. The Canadian beer fridge is cute, but it's not exactly as if they're harboring liquid gold in their Olympic house. Now, if the Germans had a fridge spitting out Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier , that would get us excited. But it would probably also slow them down quite a bit. Get in the fast lane Grandma, this bingo game is ready to roll! Fisticuffs and Subtopia are two slot games that have just been launched on the mobile platform. Already a big hit on their web platform, these Netent slots promise to deliver even more excitement to players on the go. “With the addition of these games on mobile, we’re delighted to offer our players an even wider variety of mobile slots,” said a Karamba spokesman. Fisticuffs transports players back to the early 1900s and to the manly sport of boxing. The bell rings, the lights flash and the fight begins. This thrilling 10-line slot includes exciting features, such as two different Wilds, and the chance to “win both ways.” A fun Boxing Feature, packs a punch while bringing more Wilds, and more chances for wins to the players. Subtopia takes players deep under the sea, where they must navigate the murky waters to win Free Spins. This 20-line slot also features a random multiplier in the main round, so players have the chance to boost their balance (up to x5) with every spin.
