The Reel Life22 July 2010When The Reel Life goes to the authorities to report a disturbance, we always make sure we're not in handcuffs and don't have any drugs. A Florida man didn't follow the same plan. According to Florida.com, a Pasco County man was arrested with his own handcuffs after he tried to get a police officer to get them off. Shawn Martines told the officer that a woman had put the cuffs on him and he thought they were fake. The cuffs weren't fake, and the woman didn't have a key either. When the officer searched Martines, he found a hypodermic needle and nine Xanax pills. The officer then used Martines' own handcuffs to haul him off to jail on drug charges. The Reel Life would like to thank Martines, and the state of Florida, for providing us with countless examples of dimwitted criminals, and we look forward to doing business with you in the future.
