The Reel Life

15 April 2010

Sometimes after a rough night at the online slots, The Reel Life likes to throw down a few. But we've never been intoxicated enough to perform CPR on road kill.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, an "extremely intoxicated" Pennsylvania man was trying to resuscitate a dead possum lying along a highway. Donald Wolfe, 55, was spotted by a state trooper attempting to breathe life into the dead animal around 3 p.m. in an area north of Pittsburgh.

Trooper Jamie Levier said Wolfe "did have his mouth in the area of the animal's mouth," while another witness said that Wolfe was "kneeling near the dead animal and gesturing as though he was conducting a séance."

Troopers arrested Wolfe and charged him with public drunkenness. Of course, the New York Post, in republishing the story, had a very clever headline that read "Drunk as a skunk man tries to revive dead possum."

Get in the fast lane grandma, the Bingo game is ready to roll!

The week of a lifetime

Royal Vegas Online Casino had a flurry of jackpot wins last week, giving away more than $160,000 to its top weekly winners alone.

Jim M. had a particularly fantastic week, winning $92,397 on the Bars and Stripes Bonus Slot. Not to be outdone (by himself), Jim won an additional $28,623 on the High Limit Thunderstruck Feature Slot game.

Antoine D., Martine R. and Peter H. rounded up the list of Royal Vegas Online Casino's other featured "Weekly Winners" with wins of $29,064, $26,911 and $18,475 respectively.

Congrats to all!
