The Reel Life

8 October 2009

There are bad ideas. There are very bad ideas. And then there are horrifyingly terrible ideas. The Reel Life has had some bad ideas and some very bad ideas thanks to the online slots. But we've never had a horrifyingly terrible idea. Unfortunately for a Wisconsin man, he can't say the same thing.

According to the Sheboygan Press, Jeffery M. Goelzer was pulled over at 2:44 am on suspicion of driving a stolen car. Goelzer admitted to stealing the car, which is commendable.

Then things took a turn towards horrifyingly terrible. Upon further questioning, Goelzer said that after he was released he was going to "kill his probation officer and blow up the police department." He then said that he "hated all Americans because he was from Canada" and that he should be considered a "terrorist threat."

Goelzer was charged with felony counts of burglary and operating a motor vehicle without the owner's consent. It is unclear what additional penalties Goelzer will face as a Canadian who should be considered a terrorist threat because he hates all Americans.

The Reel Life can't promise we won't have bad ideas or very bad ideas in the future. But we can promise we won't be on any terrorist list.

Get in the fast lane grandma, the Bingo game is ready to roll!

It's a mad, mad world

It was pure insanity at Slots of Vegas Casino after a man with the nickname "MADMAN" won $224,000 in less than an hour on the Prince of Sherwood slot machine.

"MADMAN" began playing with only $50. Slots of Vegas Casino's customer service manager Ralph Biggers was understandably impressed by this insane run.

"MADMAN was literally hitting on this slot machine just like his nickname implies. It was crazy. One minute his account was up at a couple of grand and the next minute it was over $200,000."

He added that he had never seen such a small balance climb so quickly.

"He won over $200,000 in a period of no more than an hour. It was incredible."

Let's hope our big winner doesn't go "MAD" with all of his new found cash!
