The Reel Life11 June 2009Admittedly, the Reel Life has hit some bad streaks while playing the slots. But we've never run into the kind of cold streak that has made us turn to a life of crime. And if we did, we're pretty sure we'd be better at it than these two recent clumsy criminals. First we present 38-year-old Randall Walker and his partner in crime Jason Dietrich, 35. At first glance the two culprits seem to be pretty suave as they not only succeeded in robbing a Daytona Beach, Fla. Bank, but got away with the loot and made it to the getaway vehicle. Unfortunately, one of these two geniuses forgot to hit a gas station while planning the heist because the Jeep Cherokee they were driving ran out of gas not far from the bank. The two abandoned the car and fled the scene, but police used the registration to trace it back to Dietrich. The pair now face bank robbery charges and are being held on $50,000 bail. Someone spotted him putting on a wig and a trench coat and alerted the bank manager. When Strickland walked into the bank and off duty policeman was waiting for him and wasted no time in putting him under his control. The best part is that once Strickland was apprehended he was found carrying a toy gun as a weapon. Get in the fast lane grandma, the Bingo game is ready to roll!
