The Reel Life

30 December 2008

The Reel Life is known to get vocal when playing the online slots. When that big jackpot hits, you can bet we'll be out of our seats, hooting and hollering. When we head to the movie theater, however, we know to keep our mouths shut. A family in Philadelphia allegedly did not follow this cardinal rule, and one man decided to take matters into his own hands.

According to the Philadelphia Inqurier, James Joseph Cialella Jr. became enraged when a father and son were talking during a Christmas showing of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. After exchanging words with the father, police said Cialella got out of his seat and shot the father in the arm with a .380-caliber gun.

Cialella then sat down to watch the movie, according to the Inqurier. Police arrived shortly after and arrested him. He is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and weapons violations.

Perhaps if Mr. Cialella was a slots fan, he would have been spending his Christmas playing a holiday-themed game instead of carrying a gun to a movie theater. With that, the Reel Life would like to remind you that there is no gun violence in the online slot world, so feel free to talk as loud as you wish.
