The Reel Life23 December 2008The Lapland New Forest amusement park is under fire after a number of violent incidents, including angry parents attacking Santa and his elves, have left the park with holiday joy in short supply. The Daily Mail says that an "unprecedented" 1,300 complaints about the park have been filed against what is now widely known as "Winter Blunderland." Former security guard Adrian Wood, who quit after being smacked by a customer, told the Daily Mail that "Santa was punched by a furious father who had been waiting in line for four hours. He had got to the front only to be told he couldn't take a picture of his children and that they weren't allowed to sit on Santa's lap." Wood also said that "a girl working as an elf was slapped in the face by a woman who was angry that her children were disappointed." And to top it all off, the Daily Mail reported that "a child had to be comforted after arriving at Santa's grotto to find him puffing a cigarette outside." Customers who have bristled at paying £25 per ticket have turned to Facebook with their complaints, creating groups such as "Lapland New Forest Is A Rip-Off - Don't Go," "Lapland New Forest is rubbish and not worth £25" and "Lapland Letdown." Over 1,500 people have joined these groups. So while The Reel Life is wholly unimpressed with Lapland New Forest, it's important to remember that punching Santa and his workers doesn't set a good example for the kids. Instead, pour yourselves some eggnog, promise to never visit Lapland New Forest, and check out the latest online slot promotions. Happy Holidays. The Holiday Feast Online casino English Harbour is offering a promotion called "The Holiday Feast," which will have a $100,000 prize pool and feature a top prize of $25,000 to the winner. Payouts from the pool will go to 9400 players. One characteristic of the tournament English Harbour is using to attract new real money players is that rebuys made by players will have a portion go into the prize pool as a bonus. This will make all the prizes awarded on the payout schedule larger for those who win. The game that will be played will be Cleopatra's Pyramid. Cleopatra's Pyramid is a 5 reel video game that has become a favorite of current English Harbour players. This tournament will be running from December 17th to January 4th with an entry fee of $10.00 per player. Get in the fast lane grandma, the Bingo game is ready to roll!
