The Reel Life

10 January 2008

Peter K may be able to afford to do some shopping when he goes to work after the Liverpool man, who is employed by Jaguar cars as a production officer, lit up the Jackpotjoy slot machines for £126,025 during the month of December.

Peter has been a member of Jackpotjoy since January of 2007 and he claimed his small fortune by spinning the reels of Diamond Bonanza.

"My girlfriend doesn't believe me," said Peter. "I told my dad and he doesn't either! I think I'll pay some of my debts off, and then go on holiday to the Maldives."

As for Jayne and George C, well, let's just say they entered the New Year is a complete state of marital bliss. The lucky couple combined to cash in for nearly £130,000 the week before Christmas.

Jayne picked £49,463 playing Diamond Bonanza and then scooped up £10,000 more on the What A Girl Wants machine. Not long after, her husband George hit for a staggering £70,000 playing Bingo Gold.

"This is beyond belief," Jayne said. "It's not only made our Christmas. It made our lives! With my early win, we paid for our son to go travelling. We've just topped up his account. We've made so many people happy!"
