The Puyallup Tribe will close its casinos for next two weeks16 March 2020The Puyallup Tribe announced today that it will close Emerald Queen Casino I-5 in Tacoma and Emerald Queen Hotel & Casino in Fife for at least two weeks. From the Facebook page: In a move to help slow the spread of COVID-19, the Puyallup Tribe is shutting down both of its Emerald Queen Casino locations and curtailing non-essential government operations for two weeks beginning at midnight on Monday, March 16. Tribal government and casino staff will reassess conditions toward the end of the two-week period and determine how to proceed. Employees will be paid and given full benefits during the closure. |
