The Point Casino celebrates Grand Opening of new facility5 July 2012KINGSTON, Washington (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Point Casino is celebrating the Grand Opening of their new facility July 8 -14, 2012. The all-new building adds 100 additional new slot machines for a total of 625, a pit area with 12 table games (double in size compared to the old Point Casino), and a brand new Poker Room. In addition to gaming, The Point Casino opened the Point Event Center. The concert venue features 725 seats, and showcases a variety of nationally touring headline entertainment as well as regional entertainment favorites. The Casino also unveiled the Boom Room, a dance club located off the casino floor. Decorated in industrial black, cool blues and steel-gray colors, the room also offers outdoor patio seating, and is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 5:00 PM until 2:00 AM. Adding to the gaming and entertainment offerings, The Point Casino opened three new restaurants. Little Boston Bistro is an upscale casual restaurant which promotes regionally grown natural ingredients and features steaks, chops and fresh fish. The restaurant is decorated with a mahogany colored wood grain floor and earth colored textured walls in reds, black with slate colored accents, and features outdoor heated patio seating for guests. The Bistro is open for breakfast; lunch and dinner, and dinner reservations are recommended and can be made through the popular online reservation system, OpenTable. The Market Fresh Buffet offers a wide selection of food with many dishes prepared at “live action stations” as guests watch. The Market Fresh Buffet features a lavish Seafood Feast on Friday & Saturday nights for only $23.95, and dessert offerings include house-made gelato and bakery specialties prepared by an in-house pastry chef. The Buffet is decorated in earth tones and burgundy, and is open from 11:30 AM until 10:00 PM (11:00 PM Friday & Saturday). The Point Julia Deli serves sandwiches and pizza, and lighter fare like soups and salads. The Point Julia Deli opens at 11:00 AM daily. The Point Casino is planning a number of Grand Opening events all week July 8–14. Sunday July 8 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM there will be free cake for guests at 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM (while supplies last). Then starting Monday, July 9 through Thursday, July 12 The Point Casino will be giving away new ATVs, one per day for 4 days (4 ATVs in all). Friday, July 13 the first 1,000 Point Casino Wildcard Club members who earn 100 points on their Wildcard Club card will receive a free Grand Opening T-Shirt. Then on Saturday, July 14 from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM all Wildcard Club members will receive double points on all tracked play for that day.
