Arsenio Hall arrived on the comedy scene after moving to Chicago, Illinois, in 1979. After touring with several major headliners and a brief stint as host of Fox Network's "The Late Show," Hall received the opportunity to co-write and co-star in the Paramount hit movie "Coming to America."

In 1989, Hall debuted "The Arsenio Hall Show," which later became an Emmy Award-winning late-night talk show. During the show's successful five-year run, Hall provided a forum for cutting-edge comedy, politics and television debuts of pop stars, including Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men. He has appeared regularly on television and talk shows, including being named the "Celebrity Apprentice" winner for season five of the hit NBC show. Additionally, Hall co-starred on season four of BET's hit comedy series "Real Husbands of Hollywood."

Hall continues to perform his celebrated stand-up routines across the country and is now a co-host on the nationally-syndicated radio program "The Tom Joyner Morning Show."
