The Orleans, Gold Coast to celebrate milestone anniversaries16 November 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Orleans and Gold Coast Hotel and Casino will both celebrate big anniversaries in December, with The Orleans celebrating 20 years and Gold Coast celebrating 30 years of serving the Las Vegas community. "It's been an honor to serve the Las Vegas locals for so many years at The Orleans and Gold Coast," said Tony Taeubel, Senior Vice President and General Manager of The Orleans and Gold Coast. "We hope our customers and the community will join us in celebrating our big anniversaries this December." Opened on 21 December 1986, Gold Coast was the first Las Vegas locals casino located on the west side of the Las Vegas Valley. It was joined 10 years later by The Orleans, which opened just to the south on Tropicana Avenue on 28 December 1996. As the two properties reach their big milestones, many team members who helped open their doors remain a proud part of the team today – 25 team members at Gold Coast and 125 team members at The Orleans. Each property will host a public cake and champagne celebration hosted by Bill Boyd on 20 December, but the celebrations will run throughout the month of December with great gaming promotions, buffet and drink specials, and more from 2–24 December. The Orleans and Gold Coast will each be giving away $50,000 with 10 winners at each property every week, with the chance to win up to $10,000 at each drawing. 20th Anniversary Events at The Orleans include:
