The Keith Companies Awarded New Contracts in Las Vegas27 December 1999The Keith Companies, Inc. (Nasdaq: TKCI) today announced that it was awarded two service contracts for major commercial developments in Las Vegas: SunCoast Hotel and Casino, and The Vineyards. The value of the contracts was not disclosed. The Keith Companies is providing surveying services for SunCoast, Las Vegas' newest suburban casino. The Mediterranean-style property is situated on 50-acres within Peccole Ranch, a 632-acre master-planned community. The 78,000-square-foot casino will house a 16-screen theater complex, a state-of the-art bowling center, and 600-seat showroom. It's being developed by Coast Casinos, operator of the Orleans and the Gold Coast _ off-Strip casinos that cater to Las Vegas locals _ and the Barbary Coast, on the Strip. The Vineyards is an 80-acre, mixed-use entertainment and retail complex, adjacent to Sunset Station Hotel and Casino, Galleria Commons and other retailers within EastGate, a 188-acre master-planned development. The The Keith Companies is providing land planning, full-service civil engineering for the site and the overall master planning for the infrastructure of the associated streets and highways in the area.
