The Fixx and Wang Chung to play at Hard Rock Cafe Four Winds10 June 2013NEW BUFFALO, Mich. (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians' Four Winds Casino Resort is pleased to announce an upcoming concert by The Fixx and Wang Chung at Hard Rock Cafe Four Winds on Thursday, Aug. 1, at 7 p.m. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, June 14, at 10 a.m. EST, exclusively through Ticketmaster. Tickets are $25. Additionally, a new outdoor patio at Hard Rock Cafe Four Winds will open on Monday, June 24, and will feature full dining and beverage service. The patio will include traditional outdoor table seating, soft lounge chairs, and a fire pit. The patio is 1,600 square feet and has room for up to 70 people. The Fixx, a British New Wave band formed in 1979, is still creating new socially conscious music more than 30 years after their first album debuted. The band's 2012 album, "Beautiful Friction," is filled with thoughtprovoking lyrics about responsibility and the need to be accountable. Over the course of their career, The Fixx has released ten studio albums and has had seven Top Ten Billboard hits, including "One Thing Leads to Another," "Saved by Zero," and "Stand or Fall." Over the course of its 30 year career, Wang Chung has sold millions of records, released five albums, and two Greatest Hits compilations. Wang Chung has had six U.S. Top 40 hits including, the number one hit "Everybody Have Fun Tonight." The band also recorded the song "Fire in the Twilight" for the 1980s film "The Breakfast Club." The 12,000 sq. ft. Hard Rock Cafe Four Winds spans two floors, includes seating for over 275 people, features a live music stage, and has more than 150 pieces of rock 'n' roll memorabilia from Hard Rock's unmatched collection. Hard Rock Cafe Four Winds also features live entertainment daily. Show times are Sundays through Wednesdays at 7 p.m., Thursdays at 9 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays at 10 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older to enter Hard Rock Cafe Four Winds after 9 p.m. |
