The Curious Show coming to SugarHouse Casino20 March 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Curious Show, an action-packed dance and variety show, unveils unique and mesmerizing acts that will entertain guests exclusively at the SugarHouse Casino Event Center. Starting April 14, performances will include magic and illusions, a comedic ventriloquist, an exciting balancing act and more. The Curious Show features a full cast of talented dancers and variety performers who will provide mysteriously fun entertainment. Combining the elements of popular contemporary dance and variety shows with Cirque-style performers, the eclectic collection of acts will thrill and delight. "You never know what you're going to see at The Curious Show," said Wendy Hamilton, general manager of SugarHouse Casino. "Mind-blowing magic, mesmerizing flame twirling and gravity-defying acrobatics are just some of the entertainment that will electrify the Event Center." Alongside the fascinating and incredible acts, The Curious Show will also include full production numbers highlighting the hits of today's top musical performers. The show will run every Thursday night at 8:30 p.m., April 14—June 16 with tickets costing $30 per seat. Tickets are on sale now, and guests must be 21 years or older to attend. The Curious Show tickets and all Event Center shows can be purchased online. Additional upcoming events include performances by world-renowned comedian Trevor Noah, April 23, and Don Felder, formerly of The Eagles, on May 29. In addition to live performances and concerts, the SugarHouse Casino Event Center can be reserved for a variety of other occasions, including weddings, corporate receptions, seminars, trade shows and more. The space features floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views of the Delaware riverfront and the Ben Franklin Bridge. Parking is always free. The Event Center is part of SugarHouse's 2016 expansion rollout, with an expanded gaming floor and seven new food and beverage outlets, including Hugo's Frog Bar & Chop House by Gibsons Restaurant Group, the casino's high-end steakhouse. |
