The Cosmopolitan ringing in 2020 with Lizzo12 December 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- On Tuesday, 31 December, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will present an evening of highly anticipated entertainment, dining, and seasonal festivities to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Guests are invited to ring in 2020 with Lizzo’s return to The Chelsea, Mustard at Marquee Nightclub, an exclusive firework viewing party at The Ice Rink, as well as celebrations at The Chandelier, The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails and CliQue Bar & Lounge. Guests can also kick off the evening with specialty dinners at a number of the resort’s renowned restaurants and lounges. The Chelsea Lizzo at The Chelsea --SOLD OUT-- Doors at 7:00 p.m.; Show at 9:00 p.m. Topping off her immensely successful breakout year, the 2020 GRAMMY Awards most-nominated artist, will close out 2019 at The Chelsea with a special New Year’s Eve performance. Lizzo’s newest album, Cuz I Love You, delivers everything from sixties soul to eighties post-disco pop with dense arrangements and electrifying vocals. Lizzo, who recently delivered a weekend full of buzz-worthy moments at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, will run through her hits like “Juice,” and “Tempo,” featuring Missy Elliot, as well as tried and true favorites like “Good as Hell,” and “Truth Hurts.” The Ice Rink Exclusive NYE VIP Experience with Veuve Clicquot at The Ice Rink at Boulevard Pool 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and Veuve Clicquot will present a 1920’s Prohibition-themed party at The Ice Rink toasting to the New Year. This exclusive VIP experience will include a three-hour open bar, featuring Veuve Clicquot, Hennessey, Belvedere and more, live entertainment, and interactive photo stations while overlooking the Las Vegas Strip’s glittering fireworks display. Guests must be 21 years and over Marquee Nightclub Mustard at Marquee Nightclub Doors at 9 p.m. Mustard, born Dijon McFarlane, is a DJ and producer. The Los Angeles-born native brings a hot, new and different sound to hip-hop music. Mustard has worked with some of the biggest names in hip-hop, and has released three studio albums of his own. His most recent studio album, Perfect Ten, was released in June 2019. A premium open bar package sponsored by Moet Hennessy will be available from 9 p.m. - midnight starting at $75 with a complimentary champagne toast at midnight to ring in 2020 in style. The Barbershop NYE 2020 at The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails Tuesday, 31 December at 9 p.m. Tickets start at $75 Guests can enjoy a special live performance by Heavy Petting Zoo and DJ sets all night long. A premium open bar package sponsored by Moet Hennessy will be available from 9 p.m. - midnight starting at $75. As the clock strikes midnight, guests will be treated to a complimentary champagne toast to ring in the New Year. Table reservations are available. The Chandelier NYE 2020 at The Chandelier Tuesday, 31 December from 6 p.m. The Chandelier is the place to see and be seen this New Year’s Eve. Levels 1 and 2 of the three-story bar will be open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis, and will host a line of spirited cocktails and top shelf champagne. Level 1.5 of The Chandelier will be open to the public until 9 p.m., after which the iconic space will transform into the ultimate New Year’s destination.
