The Cosmopolitan reveals jam-packed New Year's schedule30 October 2017(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas presents a dynamic lineup of chart-topping entertainers to ring in the New Year. Ranging from Foo Fighters, Duran Duran and Zac Brown Band to hip-hop heavyweights French Montana, DJ Mustard and EDM sensation Galantis, the resort welcomes guests to experience Grammy Award-winning talent at what is sure to be an unforgettable New Year's Eve Weekend. Counting down to 2018, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will host a variety of nightly experiences ranging from standout concert acts at The Chelsea to the hottest nightclub sets at Marquee and a specialty Perrier-Jouët party at The Chandelier. Returning for the second year, CBS RADIO will present the biggest shows throughout the weekend, including those headlined by Foo Fighters, Duran Duran and Zac Brown Band along with a special performance by lead singer Zac Brown's newest disco pop project, Sir Rosevelt. "Guests travel from all over the world to experience New Year's Eve weekend in Las Vegas," said Fedor Banuchi, vice president of entertainment and nightlife at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Tickets for The Cosmopolitan's NYE Weekend will go on sale Friday, 3 November at 10 a.m. PDT and are available online at the website or through Ticketmaster or by calling 800-745-3000. 2017 New Year's Eve Weekend Events Include: Friday, 29 December Zac Brown Band at The Chelsea Billboard calls Zac Brown Band "one of the biggest success stories in country music over the past decade." Since 2009, the band has sold more than eight million records and more than 25 million singles. To date, they have achieved 15 No. 1 radio singles and are the second act to top both the country and active rock formats while developing a reputation with critics and fans alike for a live show marked by strong musicianship and subtle arrangements that defy genre boundaries.
Following Zac Brown Band's show at The Chelsea, Zac Brown will show off his newest project, Sir Rosevelt, a southern pop meets dance groove trio featuring Niko Moon and Ben Simonetti.
Marquee Nightclub kicks off NYE weekend with a special DJ set by Swedish EDM duo, Galantis.
Duran Duran at The Chelsea Iconic British group Duran Duran will be making this special appearance the last on their two year Paper Gods World Tour. The band has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, and their work has been recognized through a number of prestigious accolades, including Grammy and Brit Awards. Their most recent album, Paper Gods, made its debut into the U.S. top 10 chart in September 2015.
NYE weekend continues at Marquee Nightclub with a special night headlined by rapper and producer DJ Mustard.
Foo Fighters at The Chelsea With more than 25 million records sold, the 11-Grammy Award winning Foo Fighters will rock guests into the New Year with an energizing set featuring beloved hits and songs from their worldwide No. 1 album, Concrete and Gold.
French Montana rings in the New Year at Marquee. Guests will enjoy passed hors d'oeuvres from 9 p.m. to midnight and indulge in a premium open bar from 9 to 11 p.m. As the countdown to midnight begins, partygoers will raise a glass of complimentary champagne to toast to 2018.
The highly anticipated Ice Rink will also host an annual New Year's Eve fireworks viewing celebration for guests of all ages with skating, open bar and a live DJ overlooking the Las Vegas Strip.
The iconic Chandelier, located in the heart of the resort, will host An Enchanted New Year's Eve presented by Perrier Jouët and Absolut Elyx on Level 1.5 to bring in 2018. The celebration will feature live entertainment by Rico DeLargo and DJ Kyle Flesh.
