The Beau Rivage Heater coming to Mississippi in January17 November 2023(PRESS RELEASE) -- Poker action heats up in January with The Beau Rivage Resort & Casino Heater, 4-15 January 2024. With more than $3 million in guaranteed prize pools and 65 tables, The Beau Rivage Heater is a poker player’s dream. Tournament action begins with a $1 million guaranteed event with an entry fee of $400, and features another $1 million guaranteed prize pool in the Main Event with an entry fee of $1,200. There will be 12 tournament events and multiple satellites to those tournaments, with entry fees from $400 to $2,000. Featured during the Beau Rivage Heater will be daily events with exciting game formats including No Limit Hold’em, Limit Omaha 8 or Better and more. A $200,000 guaranteed Mystery Bounty Triple Stack with a $500 entry will be played 8 January. The $150,000 guaranteed High Roller Freezeout with a $2,000 entry fee will begin on 7 January. A special event for First Responders with a $50,000 guarantee and a $400 entry will be played 12 January, while a Seniors $100,000 guaranteed event with an entry fee of $400 will take place on 9 January. “We’re incredibly excited for the return of The Heater to start the new year,” said Beau Rivage Poker Room Manager Adam Nash. “With the growth of the event, both in popularity and prize money, it has become known simply as “The Heater.” Last year was a record-breaker, and with our structure, game variations and guarantees, and the opening of our new poker room just down the escalator from our tournament venue, we anticipate another successful event with something for poker players of all levels.” Registration begins at 9 a.m. 4 January, on the Beau Rivage convention level and is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. beginning Friday, 5 January.
