Thanksgiving specials at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino8 November 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- This Thanksgiving, guests are invited to feast at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino (GSR) with dining specials from several of its premier dining options. On Thursday, 28 November, guests can choose from a tasty selection of specialty menus at Charlie Palmer Steak, Grand Café and The Grand Buffet. Charlie Palmer Steak Begin the festivities with seasonal appetizers like Sweet Potato Gnocchi with pancetta brown butter, parmesan Reggiano and sage ($15) paired with The Four Graces Pinot Gris ($11) or a Wild Grain Salad with wild rice, crisp barley, green wheat freekeh, assorted radish, shaved heirloom carrots and a poppy vinaigrette ($12) paired with PlumpJack Sauvignon Blanc ($16). For the main course, dine on a Diestel Turkey Dinner with sausage stuffing, haricot vert, honey glazed baby carrots, butter potato, turkey gravy and cranberry relish ($47) paired with Hahn SLH Pinot Noir ($14). Finish with a Brown Butter Bundt Cake with spiced apple compote, candied pecans, toffee crumble and apple cider caramel ($11). Charlie Palmer will serve this á la carte menu on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, 28 November from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Grand Café Enjoy a first course of Corn Chowder Soup and Roasted Baby Beet Kale Salad with goat cheese, grape tomatoes, roasted pumpkin seeds and balsamic shallot vinaigrette. Then, savor a Roasted Tom Turkey with sage dressing, mashed potato, gravy, roasted butternut squash and fresh cranberry sauce. For dessert, indulge in the seasonal favorite Pumpkin Pie. The Grand Café will serve this Thanksgiving Day Special for $26 per person on Thursday, Nov. 28 from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Guests can also delight in Cranberry Mimosas for $6.50 each. The Grand Buffet Brunch Choose from a selection of House Smoked Tom Turkey and Maple Glazed Ham served with Cornbread Stuffing with Cranberries and Herbs. Dine on an array of desserts including Mini Pumpkin Pie, Eggnog Cheesecake and Thanksgiving Cookies. Plus, enjoy buffet favorites like the Carving Station, Americana Station, Asian Wok Station, Pho Soup Station, Taco Bar, Sushi Station, Salad Station and Dessert Station. The Grand Buffet will serve Thanksgiving Day Brunch from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. for $39.99 per person. Children ages five to 10 are $19.99 all day while children ages four and under are free. Guests can also enjoy Apple Cider Mimosas for $6.50 each.
