Tennis Australian cracks down on match fixing

AUSTRALIA -- As reported by the Australian Herald Sun: "Australian Open players are being encouraged to dob in each other as part of a blitz on match fixing.

"...Tennis Australia has employed a team headed by a former senior detective to catch any cheats.

"...In an unprecedented move, signs have been placed in the exclusive player zones at Melbourne Park encouraging competitors who see anything suspicious to call a 24-hour dob-in hotline.

"The signs read: 'Tennis Australia has a zero tolerance policy on illegal gambling, match fixing and the communication of sensitive information which may affect the outcome of a match and will investigate all reported instances.'

"...The new policy is backed by the International Tennis Federation..."
